I've seen others add more dimentions to these kinds of 'paintings' by blurring layers, or even painting a fade-to-blur effect ... I think it might work well to bring this kind of image a bit more life.
Very nice work, congrats on it getting published. Top mark

Nice one! Resonates with both Masamune Shiro and the old Shadowrun covers. I was going to agree with solosymphony about the depth, but then I decided you do that nicely with the lighting.
I just have two anatomical thoughts. First: there's something funny about the angle of her head. The outline of her face and jaw suggest one angle and the placement of her eyes a different one. When I cover either her left eye or her left jawline it looks right, so I'd like to either nudge her left eye slightly to the center or make her jawline slightly broader on her left side to correspond with her right, much less narrow, cheek.
The second thing is her left index finger which joins her palm in a funny way, I think, considering the angle.
Just minor details, though. I like the picture!

Simson made some good points, I too notice these details, although very minor, i do see what he is reffering to ... but dont necassarily agree with the finger issue, I put my hand up in the same position, and found the way the skin in front of the ... ohh, wait ... he said index? I'm forgetting what that is now, if reffering to the pinkie finger on the higher hand, than I think its pretty acurate compared to my test with my own hand... if reffering to the 'pointing' finger.. i see no issue on either hand... looks anatomically correct to me, long and elegant.
Good eye though Simson, I missed the eye/cheek detail.

I'm loving it. ;) Cyborgs are the best.
Very nice design of those letters; did you draw them yourself or did you manipulate an already excisting font?
I like her cunning expression, and the hand is well painted. But the face isn't quite accurate. The two eyes' positioning doesn't match with the jaw's angle. Like Simson said, really.
Nice shiny textures!
