Description

My second fetish painting of the beautiful Ancilla Tilia, who is my model and a friend.

As this is a painting, here are some progressions shots:

People are asking me why I'm making these less creative reproduction paintings.
Okay, there will be 2 kinds of artworks based around her (Ancilla).
One is recreations of her most popular shots, the other one is fantasy/dark art oriented, where I'm free to interpret the reference material (and I will take the shots myself, that would be fun hehe). It's a strategic decision from the director of the t-shirt company, so I have to stick with that. The first two fetish portraits I've posted here are not the most creative pieces, I know, But in the near future I will let my imagination loose on these, I can't wait myself to begin with that :)

looking at the process its more like Photo manipulation to me, imo.
Given that you took the picture and re-made the colors and added some touches its like painting/picture 50/50.
Nice work man!

Edit: I just read all the fuzz in your other latex post about photomanip, I dont mean to make the same fuzz here, just in the process looks like you are cropping pieces of the photo and placing in the painting.
But who I m to say if you paint or not something?
Nice work again paint or photomanip, its great no matter what.

Thanks all!

Slick: hey its hard to steer away from paintovers!
maximum result with minimum input!

Thanks for your extremely low vote:p

Lol I loved your dialogue with Slick ! You are damn good with this latex things IMO. This one looks even more like a photograph than the former, I think.
Now Ok, is it a real challenge to paint over ? I would say YES, because most of us have to deal with refs, so no matter it is to paint over or just try to reproduce it with more or less inspiration and imagination compared to the original.
Congrats, my same named friend ! (and another top marks from me)

Hello latex master
Another great one, it looks so photorealistic, fantastic work.
Must give you +10 ;)

The technique used in a ilustration isn't the most important thing in my opinion. The most important thing is if a work communicates something or not . For me this is and impressive work. :) Great expression and color combination. The latex is amazing. +10
I'm happy to see your gallery again. I don't know what was the problem but this week I couldn' see you works.

i've done some photo reproduction in the past, and it requires a very good understanding of shading and anatomy to come this close to the original image just by looking at it and painting/drawing it. so great job here, it's really quite amazing to look at
and i just can't understand why people would automatically think you haven't done all the work by yourself when it's evident how talented you are. lol, but let's not get into THAT again!
excellent work as always, will be looking forward to your next one

Hey Vincent, I haven't been to GFXartist for a while now, but wow, what amazing additions to your work! You have absolutely skyrocketed in your skills, man :)

About this one: I keep wondering if it were a good idea to have her nails painted black to go with the black outfit. Totally good stuff on the photorealism!

Avatar blackshad

 07/02/07 @540

not that creative maybe, but excellent work anyway
the latex is amazing :)
great job :) +10.... waiting for the creative piece now hehe

It looks good overall but i think there's a little bit out of place between the nose & lips, maybe its just my imagination.
