Thanks for your comment.
Actually, the sketch started out with the reaper standing on a skull base statue.
My client however wanted to have the base flowing seamlessly into the robe.
And I have to agree the effect is much cooler than the initial sketch.
I can see however that it might appear of the character having very
long legs
Well, just imagine its floating
Thanks
Vincent

Just one crit: The bottom edge of an axe touches the right wing.
Also the anatomy of skulls on a dress confuses, they are a little comical
06/15/06 @298
Nice details on the death body (by the way I like the skulls on the dress....)!

Kitster:
It is indeed on request by my client to make the colour palette blueish.
You may be right by desaturating a bit
Mirzoyan:
I fixed the touching axe, thanks
Dean: thanks and what happened to you man?!

A top artwork +10!!!
Fantastic details in the skulls!
The colors and the entire composition sucks you into the piece!

Vincent, this is truly an interesting design for "death"...just a minor observation (somebody already mentioned about the scythe perspective...dang! why do I need to say that) ..the tombstones needs a bit more of texture...at the moment they all look brand new
Well done on the design/details...the mood is totally creepy >_<
Maridol <---going to sleep with her rosary tonight and probably won't let Ian sleep ahead

Only thing I'm not keen on is the thickness of the sythes handle...but that's personal taste....not really a crit.
As everyone is saying; one of your best to date!

Tiny ideas, would like to see some damage to the wings.. after all he is not a clean shaven person
I am as stated not an artist, so take this with a pinch of salt, the skulls and bones in the bottom of the robe are a little strange to me, maybe to many or not sitting right to my eye..
The main guy is excellent the background is perfect and the weapon he he carrying is great. except the right hand side point of the weapon could be sharper, more pointed... Well done and hey you would think I knew what I was talking about.
Keep up the good work...........
